Gabriele Nelli in Trentino Volley trophies room with the bronze medal

For the third time in the last four years, Gabriele Nelli returns to Trento as a winner of a major international laurel. After the gold which he won in 2012 with the national team at the European Junior and got the bronze at the World Under-21 Championship in 2013, this time the recognition that the young opposite class 1993 has shown on his return was another colorful bronze, that he won on Monday afternoon in Dubai with the team Italy Under 23.
"This summer with the national team has been very challenging yet rewarding” - said Nelli at Trentino Volley Point-. “We worked hard in this period and the results came as a consequence. In these last few years, I always come back to Trento with excellent results; it is the best way to give meaning to the commitment that I made during the summer. Showing my skills wearing the Italian jersey and remaining constantly on the podium, it is very rewarding; I thank Trentino Volley especially because living these last few seasons with the first team made me grow a lot."
“I will need only a couple of days off and then I'll be ready again to start training in the gym with my friends” - continued the Tuscan hammer of 210 centimeters, arrived in the youth sector of Trentino Volley in August 2009 : -” I feel energetic and I want to start right away to live another season full of games, but also rewarding. The new team is young and composed of many elements looking for affirmation, that for this reason will give their best. Goals? It’s too early to predict the outcome, let’s wait and see what happen".
As agreed with the staff, Nelli will join the group since the beginning of the second week of preparation (that starts on Monday, September 7th) by opening his third season on the roster of the first team, the seventh ever in Trento.
